From the girl who doodled all over her desk in school to graphic designer extraordinaire! My name is Danielle Smith and I love incorporating my creative flare into all of my works.  I received my Advanced Diploma from Fanshawe’s 3 year Graphic Design program in 2020. During my time spent at Fanshawe, I learned about many of the software involved when designing, such as, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe After Effects, and Corel Painter.

When designing, I am very cautious to account for the  technical parts of the design, such as, typography, hierarchy, layout, colouring, and spacing. I understand the importance of a good design and the impact it can make. I would describe my style of design as flexible and adaptive. I enjoy including illustrations of all styles and mediums in my work. I am very critical of my work and pay close attention to detail. Projects that push me out of my comfort zone are always exciting as I love a good challenge and expanding on my skill set. Currently, my favourite types of designs are ones with lots of detail and vibrant colour palettes. One goal that I am working towards is bettering my ability to digitally illustrate in programs such as Photoshop and Corel Painter.
